Activate your ULID

Out with the old (CLID) and in with the *NEW* (ULID)

University CLIDs are going to be replaced by ULIDs. Your ULID will be used to sign in to the University's portal which will give you access to your academic resources (transcript, scheduling classes, etc.) and your directory information.

Locating your ULID

Prior to activating your account, you must find and locate your new ULID. The most efficient way to do so is by logging into ULink where your ULID will be in the upper right hand corner following your name. This number will start with "C" followed by a host of numbers.

To view your ULID, log in to ULink at http://portal.louisiana.edu

Activating your ULID

When you are first issued your ULID, you will need to activate and create a password for your account using the Password Management Utility.

To successfully activate your ULID, it is required that you complete all steps. Download step-by-step instructions for account activation here.

Once you have your ULID, proceed with the following instructions:

1. On the Activate Account page, enter in your First Name, Last Name, ULID (*Case Sensitive-Must use "C")  and click Activate.
2. Click Continue.
3. Enter in a password in the New Password blank and Confirm Password blank. Click Change Password Confirmation message.
4. Click Continue.
5. Enter in the answers for security questions. Click Save Answers.
6. Click Continue.
