Part of Term Courses

Part of Term Course Designations

The University offers several courses that designated as Part of Term courses, meaning, these courses are accelerated courses within the Full Term.  

It is critical to note that these courses follow a different Academic Calendar from the full-term. There are different start/end dates, deadline dates, payment dates, etc. 

Part of Term Section Designations 

• Part of Term A: Sections will begin with "A"; example A01, A02, etc.  These are accellerated courses in the first part of term of the full term. Please review the Academic Calendar for important dates and deadlines for Part of Term A course sections. 

• Part of Term B: Sections will begin with "B", example B01, B02, etc. These are accellerated courses in the second part of term of the full term. Please review the Academic Calendar for important dates and deadlines for Part of Term B course sections.

Searching Part of Term Courses of the Schedule of Classes

After selecting the appropiate term while browsing for classes, you will be prompted to enter in your search criteria. 

1. Go to the Course Schedule.
2. At Term, select the semester for which you want to view Part of Term courses.
3. You will then be prompted to enter in your search criteria - there is designated Part of Term option. 
4. Options include:

• First Half of Term = Part of Term A
• Full Term = The entire term, 1st day of classes to final day of classes 
• Second Half = Part of Term B

5. If necessary, indicate any additional criteria and click Search.
