Important Information About Degree Works

What is Degree Works?
Degree Works is a web-based, academic planning and degree audit tool that enables students to track their progress towards a degree. Students can use this tool to determine which courses are needed to complete a degree program. Degree Works displays all degree requirements in an easy-to-read, understandable degree checklist. The tool includes a comprehensive review of all previous, in-progress, and transfer coursework.
Who has access to Degree Works?
Degree Works is based on the University Catalog year. As a result, access depends on which catalog a student is following. Degree Works is currently available for the following students:
- Undergraduate students who are following the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, or 2018-2019 catalogs (excluding RN to BSN students).
- Graduate students who are following the 2017-2018 or 2018-2019 catalogs.
When will the 2019-20 catalog be available in Degree Works?
The Degree Works team is currently programming the 2019-20 catalog in the system. The Office of the University Registrar anticipates it will launch in Spring 2020.
How do I access Degree Works?
Faculty can access Degree Works through the Advisor tab on ULink.
Students who have access to Degree Works will see a Degree Works block in ULink.

Additional information about Degree Works is available on the Office of the University Registrar’s website at https://registrar.louisiana.edu. Hover your cursor over the Academic Records tab at the top of the page and click “Degree Works.”
