See below for Frequently Asked Questions regarding Degree Works:

What is Degree Works?
Degree Works is a web-based planning tool that enables you and your advisor to monitor your academic progress toward a degree.

How does it work?
Degree Works lists all required courses for your degree, and your Degree Works audit is customized for you. It identifies courses you have completed for a particular degree, major, minor, and/or concentration and courses that still need to be taken. This enables you to easily plan courses according to your degree plan and, for undergraduate students, to consider the effects of changing a major. It takes advising to a new level!

It is now available to undergraduate students who are following the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 catalog curricula. The curriculum for RN to BSN majors and for all graduate programs are not yet included in Degree Works. Since a degree audit is based on a catalog year, additional students will be phased in over time until all undergraduate and graduate students are in the system.

When will it be available to additional students?
The implementation of Degree Works will continue with new catalog years being added as they become available.

What do I do if I am not currently eligible for Degree Works?
If you are an undergraduate student following a catalog prior to 2016-2017, you should continue to complete your normal process with your advisor and academic dean. If you are a graduate student following a catalog prior to 2017-2018, you should continue working with your graduate coordinator and committee chair to ensure degree progress.

How do I access Degree Works?
Participating students will have access to a Degree Works link in ULink. Should you encounter any problems accessing Degree Works, please email degreeworks@louisiana.edu.
