Schedule Adjustment (Drop/Add) Period

The University designates a Schedule Adjustment (Drop/Add) Period during which you can make schedule changes through ULink which are consistent with the academic plan developed with your academic advisor.

When is the Schedule Adjustment (Drop/Add) Period?
In a regular semester (spring or fall), the Schedule Adjustment (Drop/Add) Period ends on the fifth (5th) day of classes; in a summer session, this period ends on the third (3rd) day of classe.  Specific dates for each semester can be found in the appropriate academic calendar.

Add a Course?
After the designated period for schedule adjustments, you may not add classes via ULink.  To add a course to an existing schedule after the Schedule Adjustment (Drop/Add) Period, you will need to initiate a Late Schedule Adjustment card in your academic dean's office.  This card will require the signature of the instructor and department head of the course, as well as your academic dean's signature, before the card can be processed by the Registrar's Office and the course added to your schedule.

Drop a Course?
You can withdraw from or "drop" a course with a grade of "W" through the deadline established by the University. Please review the Academic Calendar for this deadline information.  Information regarding withdrawal from a course can be found here.

Resign from the University?
You can resign from the University (withdraw from all courses in a specific semester)  through the deadline established by the University. Please review the Academic Calendar for this deadline information.  Information regarding resignation from the university can be found here.
